2026 Daily Art Calendar

A functional object reimagined as something worth keeping.

ROLES

Layout design
Content structuring
Print production planning

OVERVIEW

A self-initiated calendar combining date tracking with a curated visual experience. Designed to adapt annually, the project explores how a typically disposable object can become something users value and keep.

APPROACH

I developed a flexible layout system that adjusts to shifting dates and holidays while maintaining consistency across pages. The design emphasizes rhythm, hierarchy, and variation to showcase artwork without repetition.

OUTCOME

The calendar became more than functional—users hesitated to tear off pages due to the perceived value. This led to a redesigned, reusable calendar in flippable 2-ring format for 2027 edition.
